Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.

Do a combination of flight and car from Atlanta to Moab in 8.5 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and car. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Mountain Standard Time (MST), which is usually a -2 hour difference. Traveling from Atlanta in May, Moab is a bit cooler at night with lows of 49°F. On the 8th (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
