The Capital of the South

Georgia’s largest city and capital, Atlanta is a thriving metropolis anchored by its southern roots.
Step off the beaten path and head to National Center for Civil and Human Rights and Atlanta History Center. Museum-lovers will appreciate College Football Hall of Fame and Hay House. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Atlanta: High Falls State Park (in Jackson), Noah's Ark Rehabilitation Center (in Locust Grove) and Stately Oaks (in Jonesboro). Take a break from the city and head to Off-Road & ATV Trails and La Sal Mountain Loop. Step off the beaten path and head to Grandstaff Canyon Trail and Windows. Venture out of the city with trips to Arches National Park (Pine Tree Arch, Devils Garden Trailhead, &more). There's much more to do: grab your bike and head to Slickrock Bike Trail, trek along Balanced Rock Trail, tour the pleasant surroundings at Park Avenue Trail, and cruise along Colorado Riverway Recreation Area.
