Baton Rouge is the capital of the U.S. state of Louisiana and its second-largest city. Get out of town with these interesting Baton Rouge side-trips: Vacherie (Laura: Louisiana's Creole Heritage Site & Oak Alley Plantation), Madewood Plantation (in Napoleonville) and San Francisco Plantation (in Garyville).
