When traveling from Los Angeles in July, plan for slightly colder days and about the same nights in San Diego: temperatures range from 77°F by day to 68°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 26th (Fri) so you can travel to Carmel.

Kick off your visit on the 27th (Sat): admire the majestic nature at Asilomar State Beach, then appreciate the extensive heritage of Pacific Grove Oceanview Boulevard, and then admire the majestic nature at Point Lobos.

Traveling from San Diego in July, things will get little chillier in Carmel: highs are around 69°F and lows about 55°F.
