Divided into neighborhoods with distinct characters and cultural heritages, San Diego sits just north of the Mexican border and offers visitors a blend of tourist attractions, including a lively nightlife, diverse cuisine, and a thriving musical scene.
Popular historic sites such as Point Loma and Mt. Soledad National Veterans Memorial are in your itinerary. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Seaport Village and Catalina Offshore Products. Step out of San Diego with an excursion to Oceanside Pier in Oceanside--about 1h 05 min away. There's still lots to do: immerse yourself in nature at Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, have fun at Petco Park, and take in nature's colorful creations at Botanical Building and Lily Pond.

Bucharest, Romania to San Diego is an approximately 20.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. Anaheim's major attractions are its world-famous Disney entertainment complex, sports teams, and convention center.
Take a break from the city and head to Dolphin & Whale Watching and Salt Creek Beach. Popular historic sites such as Glass Church / Wayfarers Chapel and Point Vicente Lighthouse are in your itinerary. Get out of town with these interesting Anaheim side-trips: San Juan Capistrano (Los Rios Historic District & Montanez Adobe) and Casa Romantica Cultural Center and Gardens (in San Clemente). Traveling from Anaheim in July, plan for colder nights in Yosemite National Park, with lows around 9°C.
