Monterey is a city in the U.S. Step out of Monterey to go to Moss Landing and see Dolphin & Whale Watching, which is approximately 40 minutes away. There's still lots to do: observe the fascinating underwater world at Monterey Bay Aquarium, walk around Garland Ranch Regional Park, explore the landscape on two wheels at Monterey Peninsula Recreational Trail, and take a memorable drive along 17-Mile Drive.
