A culturally diverse city situated on the shores of Lake Erie, Cleveland boasts many places to visit, such as world-class museums, popular amusement parks, and sprawling recreational areas.
Visiting Brandywine Falls and The Holden Arboretum will get you outdoors. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Lake View Cemetery and James A. Garfield National Historic Site. Venture out of the city with trips to Marblehead Lighthouse State Park (in Marblehead), Rutherford B. Hayes Presidential Library & Museums (in Fremont) and Port Clinton Lighthouse (in Port Clinton). There's still lots to do: see the interesting displays at Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, get a new perspective on nature at Cleveland Museum of Natural History, pause for some photo ops at Soldiers' and Sailors' Monument, and stroll through Ohio and Erie Canal Towpath Trail.
