New York City to Estes Park is an approximately 8.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of bus and flight; or drive. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time (EST) to Mountain Standard Time (MST), which is usually a -2 hour difference. Expect a bit cooler evenings in Estes Park when traveling from New York City in July, with lows around 59°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 13th (Mon) so you can go by car to Denver.

Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.
Start off your visit on the 14th (Tue): take in nature's colorful creations at Denver Botanic Gardens, admire the masterpieces at Denver Art Museum, and then relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour. On the 15th (Wed), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: go deep underground at Hidee Gold Mine, then take in the awesome beauty at Mount Evans, and then pause for some serene contemplation at Trinity United Methodist Church.

Traveling by car from Estes Park to Denver takes 1.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and bus. In July in Denver, expect temperatures between 87°F during the day and 60°F at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 15th (Wed) so you can catcht the bus to Colorado Springs.

Stunning Garden of the Gods Park scenery, blue skies and the glory of Pikes Peak-America’s Mountain have attracted visitors to Colorado Springs for more than a century.
Change things up with a short trip to River Rafting & Tubing in Canon City (about 1h 25 min away). The Town of Buena Vista is a Statutory Town in Chaffee County, Colorado, United States. On the 19th (Sun), stroll around Riverside Park, then relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, and then see a world frozen in time at Winfield.
