Originally built as a base for Vail Ski Resort, the town of Vail has blossomed into its own destination, but still has less than 6,000 permanent residents.
Start off your visit on the 12th (Sun): relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, then admire all the interesting features of Boreas Pass Road, and then explore the landscape on two wheels at Sawmill Creek Trail. Ouray is a Home Rule Municipality that is the county seat and the most populous city of Ouray County, Colorado, United States. Kick off your visit on the 16th (Thu): take in the dramatic scenery at Bear Creek Falls, then trek along Perimeter Trail, then steep yourself in history at Yankee Girl Mine, and finally trek along Yankee Boy Basin. Durango

Originally a frontier mining town, Durango is known today for its scenic setting, outdoor activities, and the 1880s steam-powered railway that takes visitors through sections of the mountains where roads don't reach.
Kick off your visit on the 18th (Sat): kick your exploration up a notch at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks and then hit the slopes at Purgatory Resort.
