Columbus — 14 nights

More than just one of the nation's top business centers, Columbus is a mixture of many different parts of America, situated at the spot where the so-called "Bible Belt" meets the varied cultures of the Great Plains and Appalachia.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Columbus: Kings Island (in Mason), Cincinnati (JACK Cincinnati Casino, Cathedral Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, &more) and Dayton (National Museum of the US Air Force & Carillon Historical Park). There's still lots to do: whizz through the canopy at some of the top local zipline courses and adventure parks, don't miss a visit to Rockhouse, head outdoors with Pedal Wagon Columbus, and examine the collection at Warther Museum.

To find maps, where to stay, reviews, and tourist information, read Columbus online trip builder.

The Route module shows you all the different ways you can get to Columbus. In July, daytime highs in Columbus are 83°F, while nighttime lows are 66°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel to Columbus.
