Norwalk, is the sixth most populous city in the U.S. Get out of town with these interesting Norwalk side-trips: Ansonia Nature & Recreation Center (in Ansonia), New Haven (Yale Center for British Art, Yale University Art Gallery, & more) and Derby Greenway (in Derby). There's lots more to do: visit a coastal fixture at Sheffield Island Lighthouse, stroll through Sasko Beach, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at The Maritime Aquarium, and hike along Pequonnock River Trail.

Step out of Washington to go to Lakeville and see Lime Rock Park, which is approximately 36 minutes away.
