Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Molly Brown House Museum and Parasailing & Paragliding. Get outdoors at Evergreen Lake and Crown Hill Park. Step out of Denver with an excursion to Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden--about 36 minutes away.
