Florence is a coastal city in Lane County, in the U.S. You'll enjoy a bit of beach vacationing at Roads End State Recreation Site and Taft Bay. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Sand Master Park and Bandon Dunes Golf Resort. Venture out of the city with trips to Face Rock Creamery (in Bandon), Beverly Beach State Park (in Otter Rock) and Lincoln City (Connie Hansen Garden Conservancy, Prehistoric, & more). Spend the 5th (Fri) exploring nature at Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area.
