Separated by water from the neighboring city of Miami, Miami Beach sits on a barrier island between Biscayne Bay and the Atlantic Ocean.
On the 22nd (Tue), enjoy the sand and surf at South Beach, then get to know the fascinating history of Art Deco Historic District, then wander the streets of Lincoln Road, and finally take a stroll through Collins Avenue. On your second day here, make a trip to Port of Miami, then see the interesting displays at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, then steep yourself in history at Barnacle State Historic Site, and finally wander the streets of Espanola Way.
