Olympia — 3 nights

Olympia is the capital of the U.S. state of Washington and the county seat of Thurston County. Venture out of the city with trips to Puyallup (Washington State Fair & Bradley Lake Park). There's still lots to do: contemplate the waterfront views at Tenino Quarry Pool, identify plant and animal life at Woodard Bay Natural Resources Conservation Area, take in the exciting artwork at Childhood's End Gallery, and take in the waterfront activity at Boston Harbor Marina.
