You'll find plenty of places to visit near Honolulu: Kailua (Lanikai Beach & Kailua Beach Park) and Haleiwa (Shark Diving & Waimea Bay). There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, admire the verdant scenery at Nuuanu Pali Lookout, hike along Koko Crater Trail, and tour the pleasant surroundings at Waikiki Beach.

For photos, more things to do, and more tourist information, you can read our Honolulu trip itinerary site .
