Those who named Volcano opted for simplicity in choosing a title, taking the nearby fire-spewing Kilauea as a source of inspiration.
On the 15th (Thu), look for gifts at Hilo Coffee Mill, hike along Sulphur Banks, examine the collection at Jagger Museum, then shop like a local with Volcano Art Center Gallery, and finally get impressive views of Kīlauea. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 16th (Fri): browse the eclectic array of goods at Uncle Robert's Awa Bar and Farmers Market, then take a stroll through Kalapana, then take in the dramatic natural features at Holei Sea Arch, and finally hike along Kilauea Iki Trailhead.
