Indiana's capital and most populous city, Indianapolis is best known for its racecar events and impressive museums, and as the hometown of Kurt Vonnegut.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Indianapolis: Louisville (Mark Payton Glass Center @ The Glassworks Bldg, Churchill Downs, &more), Indiana University (in Bloomington) and The Miller House and Garden (in Columbus). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum, stroll around White River State Park, experience rural life at The Sky Farm at Eskenazi Health, and try your luck at Indiana Grand Racing & Casino.
