In many ways much more Asian than American, Honolulu is Hawaii's largest city and its center of government, transportation, commerce, and tourism.
Explore hidden gems such as Lanikai Beach and Swim with Dolphins. Get outdoors at Diamond Head State Monument and Kailua Beach Park. Get out of town with these interesting Honolulu side-trips: Waimanalo (Bellows Field Beach Park & Waimanalo Beach), Haleiwa (Stand-Up Paddleboarding, Scuba & Snorkeling, & more) and Kapolei (Dolphin & Whale Watching & Ko Olina Lagoons). There's much more to do: identify plant and animal life at Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve, capture your vacation like a pro with an inspiring photography tour, hike along Koko Crater Railway Trail, and enjoy the sand and surf at Sharks Cove.
