Fewer than 400 people call Keystone home year-round, but the population explodes in summer when crowds flock to nearby Mount Rushmore.

Tallahassee to Keystone is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. The time zone changes from Eastern Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time, which is usually a -2 hour difference. Traveling from Tallahassee in July, you will find days in Keystone are slightly colder (80°F), and nights are cooler (53°F). Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 7th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel to Flagstaff.

Traveling by flight from Keystone to Flagstaff takes 10 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of taxi, bus, and train. In July in Flagstaff, expect temperatures between 81°F during the day and 52°F at night. You'll set off for home on the 15th (Thu).
