Klamath is an unincorporated, rural, census-designated place in Del Norte County, California, situated on US Route 101 inland from the mouth of the Klamath River. Discover out-of-the-way places like Wilson Creek Beach and Point St George Park. Get some historical perspective at Ferndale Historic Cemetery and The Immortal Tree. Explore Klamath's surroundings by going to Humboldt Coastal Nature Center (in Manila), Trinidad (College Cove, Trinidad Harbor, & more) and Eureka (Hikshari Trail, Sequoia Park Garden, & more). Spend the 8th (Sun) exploring nature at Redwood National Park. There's still lots to do: hike along Hammond Trail, look for all kinds of wild species at Arcata Community Forest, cruise along Requa Road, and explore the activities along Klamath River.

Expect a daytime high around 64°F in September, and nighttime lows around 52°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Tue) so you can travel back home.
