Lakewood Township is a township in Ocean County, New Jersey, United States.As of 2016 the town had a population of approximately 100,758 residents. Step out of the city life by going to Cattus Island County Park and Mantoloking Beach. Step off the beaten path and head to Valenzano Family Winery and Six Flags Safari. There's lots more to do: enjoy the sand and surf at Brick Beach 1, walk around Turkey Swamp Park, get interesting insight from River Lady, and stroll through Windward Beach Park.
