Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Explore Las Vegas' surroundings by going to Clark County Heritage Museum (in Henderson) and Hoover Dam (in Boulder City). On the 16th (Thu), do a day of sightseeing from above with a helicopter tour. Next up on the itinerary: take in breathtaking views at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, get outside with Outdoor Activities, take in panoramic vistas at High Roller, and examine the collection at The Mob Museum.
