Nicknamed the "Entertainment Capital of the World," Las Vegas sits in the middle of a desert in the southern section of Nevada.
Step out of Las Vegas to go to Boulder City and see Hoover Dam, which is approximately 50 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: explore the striking landscape at Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area, relax and float downstream with a rafting and tubing tour, get the adrenaline pumping with an extreme tour, and enjoy breathtaking views from Eiffel Tower Viewing Deck.

San Diego to Las Vegas is an approximately 2.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Traveling from San Diego in June, expect nights in Las Vegas to be a bit warmer, around 77°F, while days are much warmer, around 103°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 8th (Tue) to allow time to drive to Springdale.

Springdale

Located just outside Zion National Park, Springdale's 600 residents welcome thousands of visitors a year to their tiny town.
Spend the 10th (Thu) exploring nature at Zion National Park. The adventure continues: see exotic creatures in open habitats at Zion Jeep Tours, hike along Angel's Landing, get a taste of the local shopping with LaFave Gallery, and get great views at Observation Point.

Traveling by car from Las Vegas to Springdale takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of shuttle and bus; or fly. You'll lose 1 hour traveling from Las Vegas to Springdale due to the time zone difference. While traveling from Las Vegas, expect a bit cooler days and cooler nights in Springdale, ranging from highs of 94°F to lows of 50°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 11th (Fri) so you can go by car to Bryce.

Serving as a gateway to the adjacent Bryce Canyon National Park, the tiny town of Bryce draws outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers all year round.
Venture out of the city with trips to Highway 12 Scenic Byway (in Torrey) and Scenic Byway 12 (in Escalante). Spend the 12th (Sat) exploring nature at Peek-A-Boo Loop. There's still lots to do: hike along Navajo/Queens Garden Loop, take some stellar pictures from Sunrise Point, stop by Ruby's Inn, and look for all kinds of wild species at Rim Trail.

You can drive from Springdale to Bryce in 2 hours. In June, Bryce is slightly colder than Springdale - with highs of 79°F and lows of 40°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Tue) to allow time to travel to Moab.

The gateway to Utah's popular canyon country, Moab sits engulfed in the middle of desert wilderness.
On the 16th (Wed), dedicate a day to the elevated beauty of Arches National Park. Make the 18th (Fri) a memorable day with a climbing tour. There's lots more to do: see Off-Road Tours, grab your bike and head to Bike Fiend, get interesting insight from Tours, and take in the dramatic natural features at Double Arch.

You can drive from Bryce to Moab in 4.5 hours. When traveling from Bryce in June, plan for a bit warmer days and much hotter nights in Moab: temperatures range from 95°F by day to 61°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 19th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
