Florida’s mecca of fun in the sun, the lively tropical metropolis of Miami is one of the world’s top vacation spots.
Discover out-of-the-way places like Speed Boats Tours and Hollywood Beach. Art Deco Historic District and Life Pointe Church will appeal to history buffs. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Miami: Everglades National Park (Shark Valley & Anhinga Trail), Everglades National Park (in Florida City) and Ten Thousand Islands National Wildlife Refuge (in Immokalee). There's lots more to do: examine the collection at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, zoom along the surf with a waterskiing or jet-skiing adventure, contemplate the long history of Barnacle State Historic Site, and enjoy the sand and surf at South Beach.

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Step off the beaten path and head to Ponce de Leon Inlet Lighthouse & Museum and Cocoa Beach. Escape the urban bustle at Beach at Daytona Beach and Discovery Cove. Step out of Orlando with an excursion to Cape Canavarel National Cemetery in Scottsmoor--about 1 hour away. Have a day of magic on the 6th (Thu) at Walt Disney World Resort. Pack the 5th (Wed) with family-friendly diversions at Universal Orlando Resort. It doesn't end there: find something for the whole family at SeaWorld Orlando and discover the magic at Happily Ever After Fireworks.
