The town of West Yellowstone has served as a gateway to Yellowstone National Park since the early 1900s.
On the 29th (Sat), look for all kinds of wild species at Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, then get to know the fascinating history of Yellowstone Historic Center, then get your game on at Madison Avenue Old Time Photos, and finally contemplate the waterfront views at Earthquake Lake. Utah's capital and most populous city, Salt Lake City boasts a small-town feel, big-city amenities, and plenty of nature on its doorstep.
Popular historic sites such as Golden Spike National Historic Site and Temple Square are in your itinerary. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Provo City Center Temple and Union Station. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Salt Lake City: Swaner Preserve and EcoCenter (in Park City) and Historic 25th Street (in Ogden).
