Chicago to Glacier National Park is an approximately 5.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and car. The time zone changes from Central Standard Time to Mountain Standard Time, which is usually a -1 hour difference. In June, Glacier National Park is little chillier than Chicago - with highs of 75°F and lows of 45°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 10th (Mon) early enough to drive to West Yellowstone.

West Yellowstone — 3 nights

Step out of West Yellowstone with an excursion to Sylvia's Sweet Shoppe in Cooke City--about 4h 45 min away. There's lots more to do: cruise along Beartooth Hwy, steep yourself in history at Earthquake Lake, explore the activities along Hebgen Lake, and see the interesting displays at Museum of the Yellowstone.

Traveling by car from Glacier National Park to West Yellowstone takes 7.5 hours. Alternatively, you can fly; or do a combination of car and bus. Expect slightly colder temperatures when traveling from Glacier National Park in June; daily highs in West Yellowstone reach 69°F and lows reach 35°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Fri) early enough to go by car to Gardiner.
