Billings is the largest city in the state of Montana, and is the principal city of the Billings Metropolitan Area with a population of 166,855.Billings is located in the south-eastern portion of the state and is the seat of Yellowstone County, which had a 2015 population of 157,048. On the 29th (Sat), view the masterpieces at Toucan Gallery, then trot along with a tour on horseback, and then take in the dramatic natural features at Pompeys Pillar National Monument. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the world behind art at Yellowstone Art Museum, examine the collection at Moss Mansion, then look for gifts at Scheels, and finally take in the dramatic natural features at The Rimrocks.

Spend the 13th (Sat) exploring nature at Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park.
