Bozeman is a city in and the county seat of Gallatin County, Montana, United States, in the southwestern part of the state. Kick off your visit on the 25th (Tue): grab your bike and head to Middle Cottonwood Trailhead. The glaciers from which Glacier National Park takes its name mostly dissipated eons ago, but they left behind a scoured landscape of high and steep mountain peaks, sparkling lakes, lush alpine meadows, and thick forests.
Step off the beaten path and head to Virginia Falls and Iceberg Lake Trail. Step out of the city life by going to Swiftcurrent Lake and Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park. There's still lots to do: admire the sheer force of St.Mary Falls, admire all the interesting features of Going-to-the-Sun Road, and take in the dramatic natural features at Jackson Glacier Overlook.
