The glaciers from which Glacier National Park takes its name mostly dissipated eons ago, but they left behind a scoured landscape of high and steep mountain peaks, sparkling lakes, lush alpine meadows, and thick forests.
You'll discover tucked-away gems like Grinnell Glacier and Garden Wall. Visiting Going-to-the-Sun Road and Jackson Glacier Overlook will get you outdoors. There's still lots to do: admire the verdant scenery at Logan Pass.

Charlotte to Glacier National Park is an approximately 10-hour combination of flight and taxi. You can also do a combination of flight and car; or drive. Traveling from Charlotte to Glacier National Park, you'll gain 2 hours due to the time zone difference. Expect little chillier weather when traveling from Charlotte in June: highs in Glacier National Park hover around 75°F, while lows dip to 45°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 28th (Fri) to allow time for the car ride to West Glacier.

Start off your visit on the 29th (Sat): explore the striking landscape of Glacier National Park. On the 30th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: explore the activities along Hidden Lake.

On the 2nd (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: hike along Pattee Canyon and then brush up on your knowledge of spirits at Montgomery Distillery.
