Located just 80 km (50 mi) north of San Francisco, Napa sits at the southern end of the scenic Napa Valley, one of the world's major wine regions.

Explore Napa's surroundings by going to Benziger Family Winery (in Glen Ellen), St. Helena (Pride Mountain Vineyards, VGS Chateau Potelle, &more) and Valley of the Moon Pottery & North Eagle Gallery (in Santa Rosa). Dedicate the 5th (Sat) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's much more to do: soar above the sights with a balloon tour, do a tasting at Sterling Vineyards, look for gifts at Oxbow Public Market, and explore the fascinating underground world of Jarvis Estate.
