New Orleans

— 14 nights

The Big Easy

Known for its Creole cuisine, rich musical tradition, and nearby swamps and plantations, New Orleans is one of the nation's oldest cities.
Discover out-of-the-way places like The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies and Immaculate Conception Church. Kids will appreciate attractions like The National WWII Museum and Lake Lawn Metairie. You'll find plenty of places to visit near New Orleans: Biloxi (Beauvoir, Hurricane Katrina Memorial, &more), Baton Rouge (Riverfront Plaza, USS Kidd, &more) and Flint Creek Water Park (in Wiggins). There's lots more to do: get outside with Ultimate Swamp Adventures, see the interesting displays at Whitney Plantation, take in the local highlights with Walking tours, and walk around Audubon Park.

To find where to stay, maps, more things to do, and tourist information, go to the New Orleans vacation planner.

Expect a daytime high around 80°F in July, and nighttime lows around 80°F.
