Step out of the city life by going to Antietam National Battlefield and Old Rag Mountain Hike. Get some historical perspective at Washington National Cathedral and Georgetown University. Venture out of the city with trips to Gettysburg (Devils Den & Gettysburg National Military Park). On the 29th (Fri), get engrossed in the history at Bullock Texas State History Museum, then take in the natural beauty of Barton Springs Pool, then stroll through Lady Bird Lake Hike-and-Bike Trail, and finally snap pictures at Congress Avenue Bridge / Austin Bats.
