Orlando — 14 nights

Theme Park Capital of the World

For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park and Tree of Life. Explore Orlando's surroundings by going to Lakeland (Circle B Bar Reserve & Hollis Garden), Washington Oaks Gardens State Park (in Palm Coast) and St. Augustine Beach (in Saint Augustine Beach). Have a day of magic on the 18th (Tue) at Walt Disney World Resort. Plan for a day of cool, family-friendly fun on the 30th (Sun) at Discovery Cove. There's much more to do: find something for the whole family at Universal Orlando Resort, discover the magic at Magic Kingdom Park, see the interesting displays at Madame Tussauds Orlando, and get a taste of life in the country at Gypsy Gold Horse Farm.

If you are flying in from Mexico, the closest major aiports are Orlando International Airport, Orlando Sanford International Airport, Daytona Beach International Airport, Leesburg International Airport and Lakeland Linder International Airport. In April, plan for daily highs up to 34°C, and evening lows to 21°C.
