The tiny town of Friday Harbor is the largest village on the San Juan Islands, and it fits within just 2.6 km (1 sq mi) of space.
On the 10th (Mon), relax in the rural setting at Pelindaba Lavender Farm, immerse yourself in nature at Lime Kiln Point State Park, and then see the interesting displays at The Whale Museum. Here are some ideas for day two: get up close to creatures of the deep with a dolphin and whale watching tour, explore and take pictures at Horseshu Guest Ranch, and then head outdoors with Springtide Paddlesports.

Seattle to Friday Harbor is an approximately 1-hour flight. You can also ride a ferry; or do a combination of flight, taxi, and ferry. In June, Friday Harbor is a bit cooler than Seattle - with highs of 69°F and lows of 48°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 11th (Tue) to allow enough time to travel to Port Angeles.
