Roanoke — 14 nights

Roanoke is an independent city in the U.S. state of Virginia. Bring the kids along to Black Dog Salvage and Virginia Safari Park. Head to Floyd Country Store and Troika Contemporary Craftsfor plenty of shopping. Venture out of the city with trips to Natural Bridge State Park (in Natural Bridge), Cascade Falls (in Pembroke) and Lewisburg (Confederate Cemetery of Lewisburg & Lost World Caverns). The adventure continues: tour the pleasant surroundings at Mill Mountain Star & Park, pause for some photo ops at National D-Day Memorial, appreciate the views at Roanoke Valley Greenways, and admire the masterpieces at Taubman Museum of Art.
