Napa — 3 nights

Located just 80 km (50 mi) north of San Francisco, Napa sits at the southern end of the scenic Napa Valley, one of the world's major wine regions.
Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Napa: Petrified Forest (in Calistoga) and Jack London State Historic Park (in Glen Ellen). Dedicate the 28th (Mon) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's still lots to do: admire the architecture and history at Mission San Francisco Solano, don't miss a visit to Sonoma Plaza, and do a tasting at Goosecross Cellars.
