Sarasota — 7 nights

Sarasota is a city in Sarasota County on the southwestern coast of the U.S. state of Florida. Bring the kids along to Stump Pass Beach State Park and Stand-Up Paddleboarding. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Nokomis Beach and Save Our Seabirds. The adventure continues: explore the activities along Bayfront Park, kick back and relax at South Lido Park, relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, and get to know the resident critters at Big Cat Habitat and Gulf Coast Sanctuary.

Charlotte to Sarasota is an approximately 3.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of bus and taxi. Traveling from Charlotte in June, Sarasota is a bit warmer at night with lows of 75°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sat) to allow enough time to drive to Naples.
