Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Pike Place Market and Seattle Art Museum are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Museum-lovers will get to explore Chihuly Garden and Glass and The Museum of Flight. Explore Seattle's surroundings by going to Edmonds (Brackett's Landing South & Picnic Point Park), Lake Wilderness Arboretum (in Maple Valley) and Issaquah (Friends of Issaquah Salmon Hatchery & Duthie Hill Park). The adventure continues: take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle, take a memorable tour with Tours, look for all kinds of wild species at Brightwater Center, and pause for some photo ops at Fremont Troll.
