Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Dedicate the 10th (Mon) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at Chihuly Garden and Glass, admire the natural beauty at Woodland Park and Rose Garden, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Seattle Aquarium, and see the interesting displays at The Museum of Flight.
