Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Pioneer Square and Seattle Art Museum. Museum-lovers will get to explore Chihuly Garden and Glass and Glasshouse Studio. Step out of Seattle with an excursion to Murhut Falls in Olympic National Park--about 1h 25 min away. And it doesn't end there: wander the streets of Pike Place Market, look for all kinds of wild species at Mercer Slough Nature Park, admire the striking features of King Street Station, and see what you can catch with a fishing tour.

Aptly nicknamed the "Mile-High City," Denver sits at an altitude of 1,600 m (5,280 ft) above sea level, located right where the Great Plains give way to the Rocky Mountains.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Union Station and Buffalo Bill Grave and Museum. Let the collections at Molly Brown House Museum and Denver Museum of Nature & Science capture your imagination. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Denver: River Rafting & Tubing (in Idaho Springs), Mother Cabrini Shrine (in Golden) and Pearl Street Mall (in Boulder). The adventure continues: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, take a stroll through 16th Street Mall, view the masterpieces at Denver Botanic Gardens, and admire the masterpieces at Denver Art Museum.

Breckenridge

Founded in 1859 as part of the Gold Rush in the Rockies, Breckenridge boasts a main street lined with colorful wooden storefronts housing cafes and shops, giving the effect of a thriving western town from the 19th century.
Get a sense of the local culture at South Park City Museum and National Mining Hall of Fame & Museum. Visiting River Rafting & Tubing and Independence Pass will get you outdoors. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Breckenridge: Winter Park Resort (in Winter Park), Leadville (Leadville, Colorado & Southern Railroad, Heritage Museum, & more) and Georgetown (Georgetown Firefighting Museum, Hotel de Paris Museum, & more).
