Emerald City

Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Space Needle and Pike Place Market. Venture out of the city with trips to Olympia (Nisqually Reach Nature Center, Lattin's Country Cider Mill & Farm, &more), Eatonville (Deep Forest Challenge & Northwest Trek Wildlife Park) and Tacoma (Point Defiance Park & Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium). Dedicate the 24th (Mon) to wine at some of the top wineries in the area. Next up on the itinerary: admire the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass, get up close and personal with brilliant marine life at Seattle Aquarium, examine the collection at The Museum of Flight, and take a leisurely stroll along Hiram M. Chittenden Locks.
