Siesta Key draws most of its visitors with soft, white-quartz sand beaches and translucent ocean water.Venture out of the city with trips to Venice (Clyde Butcher Venice Gallery & Studio, Venice Beach, &more), Fort Myers Beach (Lovers Key State Park, Fort Myers Beach, &more) and Sanibel Island (J.N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge, The Hirdie-Girdie Gallery, &more). There's lots more to do: kick back and relax at Siesta Beach, tour the pleasant surroundings at Point of Rocks, take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and admire the masterpieces at The Ringling.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Tampa International Airport, Sarasota Bradenton International Airport, Mac Dill Air Force Base and Lakeland Linder International Airport.
