The City of Salida is a Statutory City that is the county seat and most populous city of Chaffee County, Colorado, United States. Visiting Cottonwood Lake and Spiral Drive will get you outdoors. Step off the beaten path and head to South Park City Museum and Spas. Take a break from Salida with a short trip to Buena Vista River Park in Buena Vista, about 32 minutes away. There's still lots to do: learn about winemaking at Vino Salida Wine Cellars, sample the fine beverages at Deerhammer Distillery, and stroll around Riverside Park.
