Amarillo — 1 night

Known as "The Yellow Rose of Texas," Amarillo was once a series of ranches.
Start off your visit on the 22nd (Sat): get a taste of life in the country at Cowgirls and Cowboys in the West, wander the wide-open spaces of Figure 3 Ranch, and then don't miss a visit to The Charles and Mary Ann Goodnight Ranch State Historical Site. On the 23rd (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take an in-depth tour of Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum, then examine the collection at Jack Sisemore Traveland RV Museum, then make a trip to Cadillac Ranch, and finally look for gifts at Cavender's Boot City.

Alamosa is a city under Home Rule Municipality that is the county seat and the most populous municipality of Alamosa County, Colorado, United States. Start off your visit on the 24th (Mon): make a trip to White Mountain Trading Post, contemplate the long history of Los Caminos Antiguos, and then contemplate the waterfront views at South Zapata Lake. On the 25th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take in the spiritual surroundings of Stations of the Cross Shrine, see the interesting displays at Fort Garland Museum and Cultural Center, and then sample the tasty concoctions at San Luis Valley Brewing Company.
