Eureka is the principal city and county seat of Humboldt County in the Redwood Empire region of California. Start off your visit on the 5th (Sat): appreciate the history behind Trinidad Memorial and Memorial Lighthouse, admire all the interesting features of Redwood Highway, then admire the striking features of Carson Mansion, and finally get engrossed in the history at Clarke Historical Museum.
