Paradise

Paradise is an unincorporated community in Whitefish Township, Chippewa County in the U.S. On the 4th (Sat), tee off at Newberry Country Club, then identify plant and animal life at Oswald's Bear Ranch, and then immerse yourself in nature at Tahquamenon Falls State Park. Here are some ideas for day two: don't miss a visit to Soo Locks and then visit a coastal fixture at Point Iroquois Lighthouse.

Munising

Munising is a city on the southern shore of Lake Superior on the Upper Peninsula of the U.S. Visiting Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore and Munising Falls will get you outdoors. Get out of town with these interesting Munising side-trips: Sable Falls (in Grand Marais) and Seney National Wildlife Refuge (in Seney). There's still lots to do: kick back and relax at Sand Point Beach, admire the sheer force of Wagner Falls, stroll through Miner's Beach, and contemplate the waterfront views at Chapel Rock and Beach.

Marquette is a city in the U.S. Get outdoors at Presque Isle Park and Timberstone Golf Course. Immaculate Conception Church Iron Mountain and Chapin Mine Pit will appeal to history buffs. Explore Marquette's surroundings by going to Piers Gorge Trail (in Norway) and Iron Mountain Iron Mine (in Vulcan).
