Utah's capital and most populous city, Salt Lake City boasts a small-town feel, big-city amenities, and plenty of nature on its doorstep.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Mon): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Temple Square.

La Rochelle, France to Salt Lake City is an approximately 17.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of train and flight. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 20th (Thu) so you can go by car to Bryce.

Bryce — 4 nights

Serving as a gateway to the adjacent Bryce Canyon National Park, the tiny town of Bryce draws outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers all year round.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Bryce: Highway 12 Scenic Byway (in Torrey) and Scenic Byway 12 (in Escalante). Spend the 23rd (Sun) exploring nature at Peek-A-Boo Loop.
