Emerald City
Nicknamed the "Emerald City" because of its abundant evergreen trees, Seattle is the cultural and business center of the Pacific Northwest, as well as a popular holiday destination.Explore hidden gems such as Snoqualmie Falls and Sky View Observatory. Visiting Puget Sound Express and Hiram M. Chittenden Locks will get you outdoors. Take a break from Seattle with a short trip to Bainbridge Arts & Crafts in Bainbridge Island, about 1 hour away. There's lots more to do: take in panoramic vistas at Space Needle, take a stroll through Pike Place Market, admire the masterpieces at Chihuly Garden and Glass, and stroll around Kerry Park.
