Williamsburg

— 14 nights

Colonial Capital

Founded in 1632 as a fortified settlement on the high ground between two rivers, Williamsburg served as a colonial capital of Virginia for over 80 years.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Williamsburg: Chesapeake Bay Bridge-Tunnel (in Cape Charles), Newport News (The Noland Trail, The Mariners' Museum & Park, &more) and Virginia Zoo (in Norfolk). Next up on the itinerary: take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, get engrossed in the history at American Revolution Museum at Yorktown, steep yourself in history at Jamestown Settlement, and witness the site of a historic battle at Yorktown Battlefield.

To find reviews, maps, ratings, and other tourist information, refer to the Williamsburg trip planning website.

In May in Williamsburg, expect temperatures between 79°F during the day and 59°F at night.
